Mission

Our Mission

  • To support and advance the Wolf Trap National Park’s vision of promoting its natural and historical resources.
  • To share the benefits of outdoor recreation at Wolf Trap through greater awareness, education, community involvement, projects and programs which will enhance visitors’ experience.
  • To assist the National Park Service by stimulating interest in the National Park at Wolf Trap.

Specific activities have been: Kids in the Park, TRACK trails, nature hikes

First-time camp out for Fairfax County 5th & 6th graders — just held the 5th camp out Columbus Day weekend for 62 campers, about 2/3 girls — the goal is 50-50%.

Garden projects — Woodland Shade Garden, Meadow garden, Native Garden, Donor Garden
