John is a retired Senior Foreign Service Officer who lives with his wife Fran Lovaas in Reston. He is a Fairfax Master Naturalist, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Audubon Society of Northern Virginia. He has served as President of the Reston Citizens Association, Vice President of the Reston Association, and on various other boards in the community. A Best of Reston Award winner, John produces and hosts a community television public affairs program and writes a regular column for the Connection Newspapers.
Stephanie Abraham has been an advocate and supporter of the National Park at Wolf Trap since becoming a resident of neighboring Shouse Village in 2002 where she and her husband Robert are raising their two daughters.
Stephanie is also the founder of Goal Positioning Strategies (GPS), a time management company that supports small business owners and high achieving people clarify, prioritize and reach goals that include family, personal and professional.
Stephanie is also the CEO of Abraham LLC, a federal consulting firm specializing in Department of Defense strategic planning support for senior leaders at the Pentagon. Stephanie’s firm has received numerous awards and commendations from the highest echelons of the United States Army for their work to implement better business processes and accountability.
